After Todd's date
Todd says there's more in store for him and David
The portion of the date that was videotaped was definitely strange. It felt contrived, but I appreciated that David took it in stride and began asking questions right away like it was a normal date. Afterwards, we had a great conversation over cheeseburgers and Miller High Life at the Daily Bar and Grill in Lincoln Square. It was a good way to get to know each other on a Sunday afternoon.
I have to say, seeing the Conservatory on a sunny day after all the snow we've had was a really nice treat. We got along fairly well, but I'd like the chance to see how we might click when the circumstances aren't so contrived. At the end of Sunday's date, we agreed that we'd give it another shot. I think we're both traveling for work in the coming week, but am sure we'll be in touch soon. We live near each other, so I think it won't be hard to schedule time for a neighborhood drink/meal.
Second date? Yes!

AWWWWKWARD! I think the video portion of this video date idea would actually be much better served as sort of a few moments with each person before the date, a couple FUN less awkward moments during, the an follow-up afterwards. Yeah, I am talking Chuck Woolery format here, but I am just saying if you can get the resources to do it--then do it. Good effort otherwise Time Out.

If I was gay, and not already married to Beth, then I would definitely date Todd. Or David, for that matter. Or possibly the dog, but just as a friend.

Any guy would be thrilled to have a few hours of Todd time. He's a dreamboat. Smart, super funny, easy going, gorgeous, great dresser, and a good eater!
