Hey Dawn!
I read your bio in Time Out Chicago and right off the bat I saw similarities between us based on your love for urban dance, sports and the non-profit world. I have been DJing for over 11 years now and following the urban dance scene even longer. I used to do a soul/funk/jazz event at Sonotheque and have DJ'd at other venues like Subterranean and Trace as well as random art parties and fundraisers.
I am as equally drawn to nature, as I am to urban life. I spend at least a week or two each year hiking. My grandma has an amazing cabin only a few miles outside Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington and my Mom lives a few miles from Sedona, AZ. So as you can guess, I am traveling frequently to both places to take advantage of the natural beauty they offer.
My other and potentially biggest love is photography. The type of subjects I shoot range from abstract to nature, and from urban landscapes to people.
I work downtown for a large financial training company, managing three different teams focused on Web configuration and support. I have lived in Chicago for the last 5 years but am originally from Rochester, NY. I went to school at the University of Pittsburgh for MIS and am essentially working in that field now, although I am eyeing a transition to micro-finance and international development work this year.
So enough about me, I hope your matchmakers find my story interesting enough to set something up.

Wow... you're like a rare delicacy! A lady that really has values and experiences life. It's a shame that someone like you will be swept off your feet shortly and the both of you will enjoy your adventures together.
