    Answer: c. Ruth Lilly gave the foundation a record-setting gift in 2002, which the Foundation has used to put on a variety of events, create a series of prizes for stand-out poets and raise poetry's profile. It’s also in the process of erecting a new downtown office building that includes a poetry library. As a side effect, this generous donation has caused every other nonprofit across the country to scratch its head and shake its fist.
