American Teen
The premise of this doc—follow around a variety of teenagers as they navigate high school—is a perennial: Frederick Wiseman made a great doc called High School back in 1968; there was a 1986 doc called All-American High; and back in 2000, the TV series American High followed 14 Highland Park teens for a year. So, what new insight can this one bring? We don’t know, but when it played at Sundance, rumor had it that there was a bidding war to buy the distribution rights.

Swing Vote
Superdelegates, my ass! According to the premise of this comedy, the entire presidential election comes down to the vote of one man. Kevin Costner stars as the man with the power to change a nation’s destiny, and everyone from Tucker Carlson to Arianna Huffington makes a cameo.
