In a grim near-future, a guy has to escort a woman across dangerous territory. She’s pursued by fanatics who want to use her to secure the salvation of mankind. No, it’s not Children of Men, silly, it’s the newest Vin Diesel movie. So, strip out Children’s arty long-take shit and its whiff of serious ideas and turn it into gut-punch action and you’ve got Babylon A.D.
