    Worst superhero movies ever

    Batman and Robin was bad. These are worse.

    Superman IV: The Quest for Peace

    Superman III was awful. But it had one redeeming feature: a fight between Clark Kent and a temporarily-evil Superman (insofar as evil can be described as "drinks too much, doesn't wash his tights and straightens out the Leaning Tower of Pisa”).

    But watching Superman IV makes me hate life. Nevermind the anti-nuclear-proliferation subplot, or the aerobics scene, or the flying special effects that make Christopher Reeve look like he’s turning into Violet Beauregarde, I’m still trying to figure out how at 3:15 in this clip, Superman is able to rebuild the Great Wall of China WITH HIS EYES.

    This is the only sequel where the effects actually get worse.
