Born in ’68 (France) We’re suckers for films with a big historical sweep, so we were intrigued when a trusted critic friend alerted us to this film about two generations dealing with social changes in France from 1968 to 2007. It didn’t hurt when we learned it was directed by Olivier Ducastel and Jacques Martineau (The Adventures of Felix, Cote d’Azur), France’s favorite gay directing couple. —Hank Sartin
