Branch out
The formerly Marimekko-employed local duo behind Unison caught our eye in 2006 with a beautiful bedding line, and their new CB2 collab doesn’t disappoint. The Larch cotton shower curtain retains their signature organic-inspired look for half the price of Unison’s original collection. $30 at CB2 (3757 N Lincoln Ave, 773-755-3900; 800 W North Ave, 312-787-8329; cb2.com).
Chain attraction
Los Angeles-based design studio Plush Living consistently titillates us with nature- and animal print-inspired textiles, and the geometric-patterned shower curtains are no different. The crisp chain motif and sunny sky-blue color of this fabric curtain scream “spring!”; you’ll feel that much cheerier when you hop out of the tub. $33 at Sprout Home (745 N Damen Ave, 312-226-5950, sprouthome.com).
Springtime in Paris
Love is in the air this time of year, and our wanderlust has us dreaming of Paris. Thanks to Izola (izolashower.com), you don’t have to drop more than a few bucks to fulfill your own travel fantasies . Printed with romantic black-and-white photographic images, the vinyl destination curtains take you to far-off places such as Paris, Venice and London. $28 at semplicehome.com or 800-794-0855.
Flower the people you love
Who needs art on the wall when you can hang it from your shower rod? West Coast artist Sam Flores, whose imagery has appeared everywhere from clothing lines to skateboard designs to vinyl toys, re-envisions bathroom graffiti with his lush, street art–style depiction of Fatima, a recurring figure in the artist’s work. $44 at urbanoutfitters.com (available online only).
