While we can get huevos almost anywhere these days, and a breakfast of croissants and lattes can be had at 7-Eleven, the Middle Eastern breakfast has yet to enter the city’s culinary vernacular. But Al Khayameih’s morning goods aren’t just notable because they’re an anomaly; they’re also addictively delicious. Yes, the traditional lineup of foul (fava beans delicately simmered in olive oil and lemon), labneh (thick, unsweetened yogurt with mint and olive oil) and “Lebanese eggs” (spiked with parsley, lemon and traditional Lebanese spices) may not be anything like your current morning repertoire. We live in the south suburbs and are looking for somewhere "new" to go to for our anniversary. What do you think of this restaurant, and is it worth the trip? Thank you. We are going tomorrow eve.

I agree that trying to read this article is the pits on this new site. Very slow to load, and that's especially annoying when there's only one paragraph per page. Big thumbs down.

The new beta site.. yuk! There isn't enough time in my life to view your articles one at a time. And I have a fast internet connection. On a smartphone forget about it. The search engine went from terrible to horrendous, and I was just getting started on figure it out.
