Juicy Wine Company (694 N Milwaukee Ave, 312-492-6620) Could our favorite wine bar get any better? Yep. Starting this month, it’ll open a rooftop patio, where you’ll find casual deck seating, potted herbs and a fat-daddy grill turning out simple classics from veggie kebabs to sausages meant to pair with cocktail specials. —Heather Shouse
Crust (2056 W Division St, 773-235-5511) Recipe for a flavorful patio party: Start with Rain organic vodka, add organic ingredients like honey and bergamot. Wait a week or two for the flavors to infuse, then pour over ice and serve to the pizza-scarfing crowd filling the tables in the serene, planter-lined back patio. —Heather Shouse
Tepatulco (2558 N Halsted St, 773-472-7419) Las Fuentes (the Mexican joint that called this address home before Tepatulco moved in) was more known for its big, brightly colored patio than for its food.
