BACK ON THE SAUCE Geno Bahena has done his thing in every corner of the city: in Lincoln Park (Tepatulco), in River North (Chilpancingo), even on the Indiana-Chicago border (Delicioso y Sabroso). But for his newest venture, Real Tenochtitlan (which, for the record, is the only restaurant he remains officially associated with), he’s taking his food back to Logan Square, the neighborhood where he started with Ixcapuzalco in 2000. True to Bahena’s formula, the space might be different, but the food remains the same—which means that moles, a different one made every day of the week, take center stage. If that tempts you to roll your eyes, you can be forgiven—who knows when Bahena will pack this place up and move on? But mole fanatics like us? We’ll be too busy eating to care. 2451 N Milwaukee Ave between Richmond St and Sacramento Ave (773-227-1050).
