Red alert! As we move past hump day toward the latter half of Spa Week, your chances of snagging one of the reserved spots at these spas are dwindling. So pick up your cell and empty that piggy bank now, because time is money (saved, in this case), baby.
Who can resist an amazing spa service for only $50? Apparently, not too many us, which is why appointments for services during Spa Week (Mon 14–April 20, spaweek.org) book up so fast. Swedish Massage at Mario Tricoci
Escape the hustle and bustle of Michigan Avenue to enjoy this 50-minute massage. The treatment (typically $78) focuses on improving circulation and reducing tension. The serenity continues inside the spa’s cozy India-inspired quiet room (pictured), where you’ll sip tea and relax afterward. Yon-Ka Gommage Marine body exfoliation at Kiva Day Spa
Be one of the first to experience this new treatment, which offers the choice among three levels of exfoliation: gommage corps (light), phyto gel (medium) or algo sel (robust). The treatment (typically $90) uses products exclusively by French skincare line Yon-Ka and includes full body moisturizing. Mini treatments at Tiffani Kim Institute
This River North spa couldn’t choose just one service for TOC readers, so it’s offering up all three of its Spa Week specials: the mini facial, makeup lesson and mini acupuncture treatment. While each service is 45 minutes long and a deal, we recommend the facial, which is based on the spa’s “Only-for-you” customization and includes digital complexion analysis.
