Savoy (CLOSED)

It could be the great view of Grant Park, or the menu of diner food that’s at your beck and call, or maybe the fact that this bar, attached to the Essex Inn hotel, is a place where you’ll be able to sip your drink in peace and quiet. But we can’t help but think that part of the reason people come here is that it’s one of the only spots around where you can have a drink at 10 am, and nobody will blink an eye.
