The Hypocrites' current production of All Our Tragic, company founder Sean Graney's audacious, 12-hour-long adaptation of all 32 surviving Greek tragedies, will get an eight-week remount next summer, the company has confirmed.

The remount, running from June to August (with the exact dates yet to be specified) at the Den Theatre, will comprise Saturday and Sunday marathon performances only. The full weekend performances have been regularly selling out during the current run, while performances broken up into four chapters on Friday and Monday evenings have been selling poorly. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale October 1.

Graney talked about the process of creating All Our Tragic in front of an eager crowd Tuesday night at an Illinois Humanities Council event at the Arts Club of Chicago. Asked for a show of hands, nearly all of the audience present had already seen the full, day-long show—some more than once.
