In case you forgot, the Blackhawks will participate in the NHL's outdoor Stadium Series again this season when they travel to the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium on February 21 to take on the Minnesota Wild. On Tuesday, the team unveiled the special sweaters they will wear for the game, just in time for Black Friday shopping. Once again, the team has a winning design on its hands.

The Hawks will wear white sweaters since they'll be the road team, which one could argue is an even better color than their home reds because it makes the iconic logo more prevalent. The uniforms also include two unique designs that nod to Chicago: The sweaters boast the four six-pointed stars of the Chicago flag on the collar and a wide, black shoulder yoke that is supposedly a reference to the "City of Big Shoulders," which seems like a bit of a reach, but hey, it'll work.

In last year's Stadium Series, the Hawks crushed the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-1 in a snowy game at Soldier Field. In that game, they were wearing some sleek black uniforms. Hopefully this year's sweaters bring the same type of good fortune.

It's no surprise that the Hawks' special edition sweaters look great. After all, ESPN ranked Chicago as the third-best dressed sports city earlier this year. It shouldn't be too difficult to look good against the Wild, though, especially considering the whooping that the Hawks gave them in the playoffs last spring.
