Merry Marlena! Soap star Deidre Hall has been announced as the special guest at Hell in a Handbag Productions' annual benefit, A Very Special Rudolph. Hall, who's played Dr. Marlena Evans on NBC daytime drama Days of Our Lives since 1976, will appear in a performance of Handbag's perennial Rudolph the Red-Hosed Reindeer as part of the festivities at Lincoln Square's DANK Haus German-American Cultural Center.

The benefit on Sunday, December 7 will also include raffles, silent and live auctions and other entertainment, with food and drink provided by Goose Island. Hell in a Handbag's regular holiday run of its cross-dressing Rudolph runs November 29–January 2 at Mary's Attic.
