Chicago is in the doldrums of winter. The holidays are a distant memory, and this week's subzero temperatures show that a 40 degree day is a naive dream.
Groupon is trying to help by offering a $7 reimbursement on burrito purchases this weekend.
The deal, dubbed "Brrrrrito Day," runs from Friday through Monday. Customers who purchase the free deal on Groupon can send in a picture of their receipt from a burrito purchase at any burrito vendor around town will receive $7 in Groupon Bucks.
Granted, this isn't an actual reimbursement, but rather just a ploy to suck people into the black hole that is Groupon.
Either way, a deal on a burrito might be the only thing to bring solace to the hearts of winter-weary Chicagoans this weekend.
