Have you ever walked through a museum gazing at the scenes painted by some of the greatest artists in the history of the world and thought to yourself, "Damn, I wish I could live in that painting." Well, thanks to the Art Institute of Chicago, that wish can now come true.

In association with the upcoming "Van Gogh's Bedroom" exhibit at the museum, the Art Institute created a replica of the impressionist artist's iconic painting in River North and listed it for rent on Airbnb. The similarities between the room and the artwork are downright eerie—from the bed frame to the tattered wooden floors, all the way down to a beat up towel hanging on the wall. It doesn't quite have the impressionistic feel of Van Gogh's work (unless you happen to drop some acid or wear someone else's glasses) but the likeness is still stunning.

The Art Institute will be renting out the room from February 14 through May 10 for $10 a night. Bookings will be released in waves every month until it closes. The first wave already sold out, and a new one will open up again in March.

Check out some photos of the digs, and picture what life was like for a struggling 19th century artist in southern France.
