The most expensive home in Lakeview is now for sale at $4.8M

It's no secret that Lakeview is chock-full of expensive real estate. Last week, new Cubs pitcher Jon Lester closed on a $3.8 million home in the neighborhood. This week, a condo at 3400 N Lake Shore Drive became the community's most expensive home for sale at a price of $4.8 million.

The fifth-floor, 7,877 square-foot place pulls out all of the stops to justify the hefty price tag. With four fireplaces, two balconies, five bedrooms and almost 100 feet of windows facing the lake, this home offers the type of Lake Shore Drive luxury that usually isn't found north of the Gold Coast.
