1. Celebrate an anniversary

Come out to one of the best LGBTQ+ storytelling events in the city tonight at Sidetrack’s OUTSpoken! This monthly showcase celebrates the venue's successful one-year anniversary and welcomes storytellers to the stage. Doors and bar open at 6, and the event kicks off at 7pm. (Sidetrack, 3349 N Halsted St, 7pm. Free)

2. Meet your new favorite couple

New York art-pop duo Buke and Gase bring their exuberant sound (courtesy of a baritone ukulele and a hybrid guitar-bass) to Lincoln Hall tonight. Get to know this delightful and energetic twosome and make sure to arrive in time for Landlady opening the show. (Lincoln Hall, 2424 N Lincoln Ave, 8pm. $12–$14)

3. Travel (by rail) back in time

Delve into an important chapter of America through the work of photographer Jack Delano. Following World War II, the photographer was assigned to document the railroads and spent months taking thousands of photographs, two thirds in Chicago. More than 60 of these are on display at the Chicago History Museum’s “Railroaders” exhibit, which sheds light on the people who built America’s rails and their impact on our history. (Chicago History Museum, 1601 N Clark St, 9:30am–4:30pm. $14)
