In less than four years of operation in Chicago, Uber has stacked up all kinds of (delightfully) gimmicky promotions; the company has deployed drivers to drop off everything from kittens to paczki to Christmas trees. Earlier this week, Uber got into the lunch delivery business.
Now the ridesharing company is offering to help with your spring cleaning. From 10am to 4pm tomorrow, May 2, you can order up a free Uber SUV to pick up your bagged clothing donations and deliver them to Goodwill. It's not likely to garner much good will from the city's cab companies, but it could make cleaning out your closet just a tad less painful.
