A Klingon Christmas Carol
One of the greatest novelists of all time, Charles Dickens, wrote A Christmas Carol, and since then it’s been tastefully reinterpreted by everyone from Bill Murray to Scrooge McDuck. But it hadn’t received true nerdvana until it was performed entirely in Klingon (with supertitles). Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N Lincoln Ave (773-404-7336). 10:30pm. $50.

2nd Story
Serendipity Theatre’s monthly storytelling event puts on a best-of performance tonight. The evening features 2nd Story veterans Stephanie Chavara, Julie Ganey, Deb Lewis and Doug Whippo. The price includes a free drink and a Champagne toast. Morseland, 1218 W Morse Ave (773-764-8900). 9pm. $50.

Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind
The hardest-writing folks in Chicago theater perform 30 plays in 60 minutes, with a Champagne toast at midnight. The show starts at 11pm, but refreshments will be served beginning at 9:30pm. And word has it that if you stick around after midnight, you’ll get a taste of the Neo-Futurists’ signature pizza. Neo-Futurarium, 5153 N Ashland Ave, second floor (773-275-5255). 9:30pm. $50.
