The Annoyance Theatre is set to open its new Lakeview home at 851 West Belmont Avenue this weekend, kicking off with a new sketch show, Invisible World, on Saturday, May 24. The show's directed by Annoyance founder Mick Napier (pictured in the lobby bar of the Annoyance's former space in Uptown), and features Matt Barats, Devin Bockrath, Neal Dandade, Megan Johns, Irene Marquette, Jeff Murdoch, Tim Paul and Jo Scott.

It's the first new Annoyance show since the Uptown space was shuttered last August. On Sunday 25, the company will host a free open house from 3pm to 2am, to let the public check out the new venue's two performance spaces (which it's calling the Mainstage and the Small Stage), bar and classrooms. Starting next week, a full slate of shows will begin to debut, including new titles and returning shows like TNT and Messing with a Friend.
