    Description
    The last time Handel's Orlando was performed in Chicago, Michael Jordan was in his third year in the league and pop idol Debbie Gibson was the object of many a young man's desire. Getting a '40s-style noir makeover from director Justin Way, this opera is sure to offer some hard-boiled fun when Orlando (Tim Mead) realizes his love Angelica (Kate Mangiameli) wants the stud Medoro (David Trudgen). Raymond Leppard conducts this last production of COT's 2008 season.
