Including members of Scotland Yard Gospel Choir (and sporting the most misleading name since Of Montreal), local group Brighton, MA puts an anthemic spin on Dylan and Wilco circa Mermaid Ave. Shimmering vocal harmonies, buoyant horns and strings add flair to its charming, self-titled debut, which plays up the folky side of orch-pop.
