COVERS: Stand-up, sketch, improv, TV, DVDs, Radio, Podcasts, Video Games, "hilarious" YouTube forwards.
Heisler joins TOC after numerous work-related stints. He's freelanced for Metromix.com's nightlife section, tackled PR and account management in the advertising industry, rustled up business for a corporate training company and harnessed the sheer educational power of improv comedy to teach rambunctious youngsters the importance of creative writing. A computer-science major dropout, Heisler settled on a psychology degree from Washington University in St. Louis, repeatedly ignoring his odd attraction to the college's weekly arts and entertainment paper. He relocated back to Chicago (where he grew up) and fell into its thriving comedy scene through Second City and I.O. classes.
