Blackhawks Campus Break-Out Session
The Time Out Chicago Campus Ambassadors paired up with the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, March 11 to supply students on Chicago college campuses with a few of their favorite things: free stuff! We rounded up our group of awesome Ambassadors and the much-loved TOC Prize Wheel to offer all students a chance to win free Blackhawks gear and we even gave away over 50 pairs of tickets. Macy's "Mmm for the Holidays" Student Event
College students from around the city got a healthy dose of yuletide cheer at Macy's "Mmm for the Holidays" event on December 4. The jolly evening began with a delicious dinner of the Walnut Room's famous potpie and a hot-fudge sundae, after which all attendees got an exclusive sneak-peek tour of the acclaimed State Street window displays. Students even got a meet and greet with Saint Nick himself, as they explored the Cozy Cloud Cottage and got a free picture with Santa. To top the night off, all participants received a discounted shopping hour with gift suggestions from Macy's for everyone on their holiday lists.

InField's Football Free-for-All
On November 11, Chicago college students gathered at InField's sports pub in Macy's on State Street for an afternoon of football, food and fun. At InField's Football Free-for-All, students enjoyed delicious food and drink bargains as they watched the Bears battle the Raiders to the victory on huge flat-screen TVs. Two lucky fans won great Bears gear furnished by Wrigleyville Sportswear, and all attendees walked away with a fantastic TOC gift bag plus the joy only brought on by a Bears win.

Shoe lovers' paradise
Glitz and glam were all the rage at Macy's Shoe Diva and Happy Hour at the Beauty Bar events. Vendors from Macy's cosmetics department gave free makeup consultations, while upstairs guests got a look at the department store's new fall shoes-and there were and hors d'oeuvres and drinks to boot. With gift bags featuring products from Seven for All Mankind, Juicy Couture, C&C California, INC and others, patrons who made a purchase walked away with some stylish goodies. Everyone enjoyed the chic evening at the always-fabulous Macy's on State.

At different campuses across the city, TOC Student Ambassadors are sharing the greatness that is the TOC Student Guide with their classmates, and handing out some free and fun goodies along the way.

Starbucks Midterm Coffee Break
Every student who has ever suffered through midterms week knows that a good, hot, caffeinated cup of coffee is worth its weight in gold, so students across the city and beyond were ecstatic about the free autumn beverages at our Starbucks Midterm Coffee Break event. At Starbucks stores near different Chicagoland college campuses, students got to take a break from their studying by mingling, trying Starbucks' delicious seasonal coffees and checking out the TOC Student Guide.
