Black Dog & Glazed & Infused make doughnut ice cream sandwiches

We love doughnuts, we love ice cream and we especially love desserts that combine the two. So when we heard that Black Dog Gelato and Glazed & Infused were teaming up to offer doughnut-gelato sandwiches, we squealed. And then we were upset, because this is only happening ONE DAY, and that beautiful day is August 29. There's no better way to start Labor Day weekend than by skipping to either one of the Black Dog locations (859 N Damen or 1955 W Belmont).

The available flavors are a lemon doughnut with blueberry gelato, a chocolate cake doughnut with salted peanut gelato and Terry’s Toffee yeast doughnut with milk stout gelato, all $6. The apple fritter with vanilla bean gelato is $8.
