Much more Bavaria than booze n' beads, this kinder version of the German Mardis Gras celebration known as fasching pulled out all the kiddie stops with mask-making stations, dance-along polka and fresh-from-the-kitchen krapfen (traditional German donuts). Our photographer was there to capture the prince- and princess-lead parade, face-painting and overall merriment.
