Lisa Mattoni-Miller
You can squeeze in a teeny bit of me time even when it feels as if you don’t have a second to spare, thanks to Lisa Mattoni-Miller. Since 2006, Mattoni-Miller has been bringing manicures and pedicures to her busy clients, both in their homes and at their workplaces in the city and ’burbs. She comes with a suitcase packed with the latest trendy nail colors, a spa foot bath and even relaxing music. Make an appointment during baby’s nap time, Junior’s music lesson, a weekly conference call or after you put the brood to bed. She’ll work around your schedule, massage your feet and legs with her own sugar scrub, and leave you feeling way better about trying to do it all. Call 773-677-2821 ormattonilisa@comcast.net. $75 for a mani and brown sugar scrub pedi; inquire about monthly specials.—Judy Sutton Taylor

Fantasy Nails
A no-chip mani, which requires no drying time, is ideal when you’re on the clock. After each coat of polish, the nails are set under a UV light and when the manicure is over (in 20 minutes flat, thanks to the lightning speed of owner Jacqueline), your nails are perfectly dry. The best part? You can pick up a fussy baby or dash to your next errand without worrying about smudging. When you have time to include a pedicure, the exfoliating sugar scrub—made by Jacqueline herself—is a welcome perk. A mother of three herself, Jackie (along with the rest of the staff) is known to coo over tots and elicit the help of other patrons with antsy types so you don’t stress. Fantasy Nails, 1743 W North Ave (773-384-0717). $53 for no-chip mani and spa pedi.—Stephanie Gladney

Elysian manicure and pedicure
This luxurious treatment at the Waldorf Astoria’s ultra-glam spa takes about two hours, but you’ll be kicking yourself forever if you don’t budget in extra relaxation time. Honestly, you’ve earned a little “me” time, and you couldn’t ask for a better place to cash in. After a sleep-inducing lava-shell foot massage and a steaming hot paraffin wax, you’ll be escorted to a lounge so beautiful you’ll want to spend the rest of the day there. Don’t. You’ll need to save time for the fitness center, lap pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna—all gratis with a spa treatment. Need more incentive? Moms can get a traditional pedicure for just $60 Tuesdays in May. Elysian Spa & Health Club, 11 E Walton St (312-646-1310). $180 for Elysian manicure and pedicure.—Amy Carr
