Along with three other Chicago-area magicians, we recently talked to Dennis DeBondt, a.k.a. the Sears Tower of Magic (he’s 6'7"). And then we asked him to visit our studio to perform some magic for us.

First trick you learned My mom showed me how to take my thumb off—and put it back on. Although one time, my father accidently showed me how to take the tip of my middle finger off with a bicycle chain.

Secret you can never reveal Jeffery the Great once told me how David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty disappear: “He just pretended to put it in his left hand … ”

Best kid’s reaction “Dad, you’re good, but he’s real magic!”
