Muti conducts Tchaikovsky's Fourth, sure, it says that right in the title, but that's not all. The Italian ace leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra through Debussy's La mer, as well as a rotating lineup of Berlioz's Waverley Overture (Sept 25, 26), Mendelssohn's Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage Overture (Sept 27) and Tchaikovsky's The Tempest (Sept 30). No guest soloists, no fancy video, just balls to the wall Romantic era heavyweights.
