Phox + Gina Chavez

Wisconsin chamber pop outfit Phox are no strangers to being last-minute replacements at concerts in Chicago. Back in 2013, the group landed a spot on the Lollapalooza bill after Azealia Banks canceled her appearance. Now, the band is taking the place of Nneka at this free Millennium Park Summer Music Series show. Expect a few selections from Phox's forthcoming sophomore LP, overseen by the enchantingly mellow vocals of singer Monica Martin. Latin folk singer Gina Chavez supports.
