Though it’s classic New Orleans food here—jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp étouffée—there’s also a full-service bakery pumping out cheesecakes, muffins and bagels. Appetizers like the voodoo black bean soup and stuffed crab cakes are served at the bar, but patrons with bigger appetites should try the stuffed jambalaya: a massive, crispy chicken breast overflowing with the traditional meaty stew.
