This sister restaurant to Siboney Cuban Cuisine isn’t a cafeteria per se—there are no ladies in hairnets scooping mashed potatoes or anything. But it’s got that cafeteria vibe, which is to say the place is almost anti-atmospheric, the white walls and electronic menu boards lending nothing other than a stark, industrial feel. So is it the most ideal place to linger with a coffee and a cuban sandwich? No. But the sandwiches are pretty decent (ditto the croquettas), so don’t discount the place for take-out.
