Blueberry Hill Breakfast Café and Pancake House

    7340 Rte 83,
Darien, IL  | Map  | Directions

    630-734-1300

    Prices

    Average main course: $7.

    Description
Let the chichi brunch spots have their crème fraîche and fair-trade coffee. Old-fashioned breakfast bliss takes the form of fluffy, dinner plate–size pancakes (from blueberry or pecan to multigrain or buttermilk), fruit-stuffed crêpes, "Belgium" waffles, egg skillets, and crisp, peppery, country fried steak and eggs. Wraps and salads make for a well-rounded menu, but let’s be real: You’ll want to skip the iceberg lettuce and dig into one of the tasty, classic diner sandwiches (Monte Cristo or tuna melt, anyone?). It’s the oldest location in the local chain and draws a crowd on weekends, but some things are just worth the wait.
