    Description
The former Johnny’s Snack Shop space has been given new life by Mexico native Yebel Shlimovitch (the Russian name comes courtesy of Grandpa). A vet of area restaurants (including Frontera Grill and Chilpancingo), the chef-owner clearly knows his way around the kitchen: The pork in his cochinita pibil is exquisitely cooked, and his pozole comes alive with a squeeze of lime and a handful of cilantro. However, much of his food lacks punch, so choose carefully (avoid chicken dishes) and hope Shlimovitch becomes more familiar with his spice rack soon.

For the record, Yebel Shlimovitch is no longer a part of Lobos Al Fresco Tacos. Give Lobos Al Fresco another try. Then post another comment. Time out Chicago, your reviews are outdated.

It doesn't surprise me that the food lacks taste. Perhaps that's why Lindo Mexico closed down. Also owned and runned by Mr Yebel. But I have one question... How did he open this place if he lost all of him money on the closing of Lindo Mexico. Did he and his brother find new people to rip off? Ladies, keep close eyes on your earning.
