This former prepared foods shop is now a full-fledged restaurant thats carved out a niche with its reservation-only Saturday night "underground" dinners and tasting menu–only format (five courses for $55, seven for $80). Value comes via the spots BYOB status, and dishes that put season at the forefront but are also consistently creative. The menu changes according to the chefs whim, but recent offerings include baked scallop with crunchy parsnip and sweet corn gazpacho with fried green tomatoes. Take advantage of the back patio while warm weather lasts.
