    Description
Even though Sola has altered its menu to fit the fall weather, it always feels like a warm, sunny day when we eat chef Carol Wallack’s Hawaiian-influenced food. Just take a few bites of a salad of smoked duck, Asian greens, blueberry honey and kabocha squash—or mains such as pumpkin seed–crusted mahi mahi with Japanese heirloom squash, and pan-seared pork chop with Hawaiian sweet potatoes and Fuji apples—and you’ll warm up instantly. (The comfy room and veteran service help, too.)
