By now, almost every Mexican-food enthusiast knows how chef Geno Bahena cooks. Bahena has consulted on so many restaurants in the past few years that people can probably recite the menu here before they see it. But even if the experience at this restaurant, which Bahena helped open, is an unsurprising one, it is at least unsurprisingly good: The ceviche is sharp with lime juice and olives, the steaks are cooked perfectly and, of course, there are the distinctive moles, proving that there are no bad Geno Bahena restaurants…just predictable ones.
