Instead we're left to gaze at your wall lined with photos from the glory days, every Polish sports celeb and local bigwig posing happily with forkfuls of your fine-dining cuisine. Now, more than two decades since, the mirrored room, lonely baby grand and giant fake flowers just feel stuffy rather than opulent, and with only a handful of customers a week, the food—from the famed roast duck to the lox-topped potato pancakes—is clearly suffering. If there's a Polish equivalent to Gordon Ramsey, we need him to give this one-time-gem a shot in the arm...stat.
