Mangia Fresca

Being just steps from the Orange Line has given this tiny takeout joint an instant following—so much of a following, actually, that the few tables in the place are consistently packed with people shoveling hot eggplant Parmesan into their mouths while they watch the local news. The cheesy arancini are one of the restaurant’s best bets; the panini, stuffed with fresh mozzarella and thin prosciutto, are a close second. And though this may not be the best red-sauce food you’ve ever had, the cannolis are filled to order, making for an ending that’s pretty hard to argue with.
