Privét (CLOSED)

This Rush Street perennial came back strong in 2007 with a shiny new interior and amped-up dining, but it also injected some much-needed youthful energy into the music program downtown. It sticks to the top 40 formula on weekends but Thursdays get more adventurous, especially its monthly disco soiree, Glitter. And note the sound system was refocused on the dance floor—it’s about time.
