    Description
Jerk-chicken huts are as rampant on the South Side as drag queens at a Dolly Parton concert. But thanks to the smiley hospitality of owner Tasha Fisher, a spick-and-span seating area and hefty portions of unforgettable Jamaican classics, this spot shouldn’t be lumped in with the rest. Combo dinners save the indecisive: We like the juicy jerk chicken and tender curry goat. Adventurous eaters with a penchant for funky-salty flavors will love the akee, Caribbean fruit sautéed with onions, peppers and saltfish that’s perfect with the hush-puppy-like festival bread.
