Description
We wish every neighborhood had a cozy spot like this—unfussy food, fun wines, and jeans and suits mingling sans attitude. Chef-owner Susan Goss and her husband, Drew, not only are pillars in the local food community, but they also keep us coming back for different nightly specials, like Mondays killer buttermilk biscuit–and–fried chicken platter and Tuesdays Wagyu beef burger. Other nights, the staple menu—antipasto plate, skillet-roasted mussels and "campfire smores"—is supplemented by seasonal specials such as winters latest, which include grilled pork tenderloin with apple-pecan relish and kabocha squash; pepper-crusted beef tenderloin with cheddar-garlic scalloped potatoes; and smoked lamb shoulder with corn cake.
