Description
You might be surprised to find a real barbecue joint out past the airport and just beyond a giant landfill, but if you're looking for the type of 'cue that typically gets passed through a bulletproof window served in a sit-down restaurant, this is your best bet. There's no skimping on smoke when it comes to the pink and meaty baby back ribs (ditto for the pulled pork and house-smoked ham). But skip the blah brisket in favor of more molasses-rich baked beans, creamed corn and andouille-packed gumbo. Grab a cup of classic banana-pudding parfait for a sweet ending.
