Our weekly style profile continues with Monica, a tattoo-loving woman with sentimental jewelry.
What’s your favorite thing you’re wearing today?
My Ganesh ring. Ganesh is a symbol of overcoming obstacles, so it’s inspirational. It’s actually my favorite thing I own, period.
What’s the strangest comment you’ve ever gotten about your style?
Well, everyone always says my style is completely different and that I do my own thing. But, I guess that’s a compliment—to be unique.
How would you describe your style?
I’m not very articulate with my style. I just get up in the morning and put clothes on. My style is very much my own.
Do you consider your tattoos a part of your style?
Yes, definitely. My tattoos are an expression of my personality. They are my own personal artwork.
