Two Chicagoans will play on Super Bowl Sunday!
The only way Chicagoans willl play on Super Bowl Sunday? If they're canines, and it's the Puppy Bowl.
Thu Jan 23 2014
Turns out the Bears aren't the only Chicagoans who know how to crap all over the football field: Two puppies from a local rescue org will be playing in Animal Planet's 10th Puppy Bowl on February 2 at 2pm. The two Italian greyhounds, Taser and Sharpie (ironically named after Blackhawks players Jonathan Toews and Patrick Sharp), come from ROMP Italian Greyhound Rescue and will compete for, uh, control of some chew toys. Check out the painfully adorable Puppy Bowl starting lineup and join ROMP at Deuce's and the Diamond Club on the big day to meet the star players and watch the televised puppy-on-puppy action.
