Time Out says

Victory Gardens hosts a performance and community forum in which Chicago theater makers, poets and other artists will address issues including racial inequality, discrimination and police brutality in the wake of the deaths of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice and others.

Pieces by Victory Gardens ensemble playwrights Marcus Gardley and Tanya Saracho, as well as Nambi Kelley, Andrew Hinderaker, Kristiana Colón, Calamity West, Damon Williams, Nikki Patin, Javon Smith, Kevin Coval and Malcolm London will be staged by director Joanie Schultz; a discussion will follow, moderated by Congo Square Theatre Company artistic director Samuel Roberson. Attendance is free but reservations are required.
