With rents on the rise throughout Chicago, the market's becoming increasingly flooded with hoards of renters who will seemingly pay almost any price to reside in their neighborhood of choice. Logan Square is no exception. While any Tom, Dick or Harry can find a suitable rental if they do the proper legwork, it's rare that they'd find an actual gem.

With Zumper's help, we tried to do just that. We found four apartments for four different types of personalities and tastes.

2319 N Kedzie Ave: $1,850/month

Hey, it's nothing fancy, but this three-bedroom apartment gets the job done. While the kitchen appliances are fairly, shall we say "utilitarian," the entire apartment gleams with sun. It's a small price to pay for having a window on nearly every wall. Also, take a look at that sunroom! What a great place to pop in with a book and catch the summer breeze.

1950 N Spaulding Ave, Apt #3B: $1,700/month

You're getting a bit of a better deal on this three-bedroom here—white walls, clean hardwood floors with just as much shine, a fully-updated kitchen (with a dishwasher, quartz counters and lovely subway tile backsplash). Even so, this flat has it's downside. It's pretty far from the train. Should you run or bike, however, the 606 is just a short block away.

3271 W Altgeld St, Apt #3: $1,695/month

Should you not require the space, this two-bedroom apartment is more than accomodating. It features a section of exposed brick walls (a Chicago classic), a roomy kitchen with just enough workspace and here's the kicker—free heat!

3705 W Altgeld St #3: $1,650/month

This two-bedroom apartment is just a tad down the road from the last. A brilliant paint job and choice selection of furniture make the space a bit more dapper. Though smaller, this kitchen makes much better use of its space, which includes granite counters and a handy garbage disposal in the sink. Bonus: whoever rents this sweet pad by Aug. 1 gets a free $100.
